Job Description
- Create, update, and maintain detailed mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models for automated machinery and equipment.
- Generate and manage accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and manufacturing.
- Prepare comprehensive product documentation including assembly instructions, design specifications, and revision records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as controls, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting by providing necessary drawings and technical documents.
- Participate in design reviews and apply feedback to improve designs and documentation.
- Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of automation components, design standards, and best practices.
- Responsibility in managing documentation workflows, mentoring junior team members, and leading small design tasks.
